Born and Baked in the USA

Cookies with bag on an attractive plate

Below are details of each of the cookies -

A Liberty Torch

After two bags, I could not find any of the torches that wasn't broken. So I rejoined this one for the picture.

A patriotic eagle

After the torch, the eagle is the most likely to break.

The USA Cookie

This is the cookie that's easy to spell.

Uncle Sam's Hat

This one is Uncle Sam's hat. I'm not sure if the picture is upside down or not.

Uncle Sam Cookie

And here's Uncle Sam...with his hat.

Lady Liberty Cookie

For some reason, the Lady Libery cookie seems a little unhappy.

Flag Cookie

I'm most impressed with the details on the flag cookie. Of course, there's no way they could have placed all fifty stars on the cookie.

The attractive packaging

They're made by Biscomerica in California, the same bakery that makes the Knott's Berry Farm cookies. I got them from the vending machine in our company's break room here in Richmond, VA. Only the vending machine on the southern side of our floor had them, the other one didn't. I can't imagine the cookies are very widespread yet.

So how did the cookies taste? Well, they taste more like a short bread than an animal cracker. They're rather sweet, but crumble then melt pleasingly on the tongue. They compliment the coffee in my company's break room well. All of the cookies in both packages were quite fresh and crispy.
